Emotional Health

Today's walking excursion was meant to encourage you to reflect upon what's inside your head. Lot's going on with teenagers these days. Boys, girls, parties, school, sports, parents, food, dreams and goals...Do you ever take a minute to ponder these realities, way from the din? Today's 5 minute respite was an example of how to do this. You don't need to be busy, busy all the time. Sometimes a few minutes of thought, or lack thereof, can clear the mind and set you back on track. It was nice to take in the scenery and fresh air and ponder our realities. Walking is good for the body and the mind. Comments please...what did you think about and how could this help your emotional health?

Corporate responsibility.

A corporation is legally bound to put its bottom line (profit) ahead of all else, even the public good. It is bound to its shareholders who, more often than not, demand increased value in their shares above all else.

1) What is your take on this?

2) What would it take to get shareholders to place social and environmental responsibility by corporations ahead of the bottom line? (Remember that the board of directors will listen to the shareholders needs)

Comments please.
